We except veterinary referrals, and are proud to provide referral services and be recommended by Bakewell Veterinary Practice (Derbyshire). We are happy to travel outside our area, subject to availability. Fuel costs at 50p per mile (return) apply.
Due to time limitations, and what we enjoy, Luci has decided to focus on her passion in this area which is broadly speaking, reactivity. We are happy to look to book you in for behaviour consultation which focuses on reactive/ aggressive behaviours, lunging, excessive barking/ fearfulness, barking/vocalising at people/animals/triggers, unwanted guarding behaviours/ resource guarding. At this time, we are not taking on behaviour work pertaining to isolation distress, separation anxiety or any abnormal repetitive behaviours or OCD. We would be happy to discuss if we can help you if you're not sure, and if not, recommend someone who can!
What's Involved?
We only use the most up-to-date ethical and scientifically sound training methods, based on treating the cause of the problem and not just the symptom. We assess the problem, find the cause and show you how to solve the problem with a personalised training and behaviour plan.
Our consultation package includes: Initial assessment, (45 mins-1 hour) veterinary referral/consultation where required, training session (approx 1.5-2.5 hours) and bespoke report/training plan. Email and phone help is available during this time. This has time and time again proven to be the most effective way of working, and is recommended by the IMDT and other reputable training organisations. Our aim is for you to understand what is going on, and how you can progress forward. We will instill you with the knowledge to help overcome any challenging behaviours.
We work are proud to work in partnership with BBC 3 Counties' Radio behaviour expert and official Victoria Stilwell Trainer, Theo Stewart. As well as being on the register for behaviourists and a member of the Institue of Modern Dog Trainers, Theo has a track record of well over 2500 behaviour case success stories, and is a lovely lady, too!
